Mr. Brutsman has been involved in the car scene for years, and we are honored that he is having us do this project with him. Mr. Brutsman is looking for a Mustang that he can jump in and drive to work or the gym, or take out on the track with racing in his blood. We know we have to deliver one badass Mustang to him. To do that we will start by replacing all the damaged sheet metal with Dynacorn parts, making all the gaps correct in the metal work part of the build. Then we’ll do the bodywork, which is one of the most important parts of the job because it’s the foundation of the car. Once all of that is done, it will be getting Axalta paint products to make the Tuxedo Black color really jump off this Mustang. Once the outside of the Mustang is awesome, it’s time to make it perform like a racecar. To do that we will go with a Ford Performance Parts Coyote engine installed using our Coyote install kit, which is available to anyone so you can do it yourself. Behind the Coyote will be a Tremec T56 transmission. We will install a Gateway Performance Suspension Street Performer strut kit and rack-and-pinion steering kit on the front of this Mustang, along with Gateway Performance Suspension’s Street Performer three-link kit and brake kit on the rear. Once we have that done, we will start the wiring part of the build using an American Autowire main harness, and we will make the Ford Performance Coyote harness plug into it to complete the harness. Inside, the Mustang it will have the look of a Mustang but with cool new upgrades, such as Vintage Air heat and A/C, Recaro seats and many custom features. Stay tuned to see the finished interior! We then will be able to install some cool-looking wheels with badass BFGoodrich Rival S tires to finish off this Mustang.
